Bath Art
Some kids dread taking a bath and others love it. When
you add in these cute bathtub art items every kid will
love to take a bath. Let them get creative and make
some art. Then it just washes away with a wash cloth.



BATHTUB CRAYONS

Materials:

1 cup grated Ivory soap or any mild soap or you can use a
glycerin soap. (Note: Do not use Ivory soap detergent flakes.
When applied directly to the skin they can be very irritating)

1-cup warm water

Food coloring

Plastic cookie cutters in fun shapes and characters





Instructions:

Combine water, soap and food coloring in a medium size bowl.

Stir the mixture until it begins to stiffen.

Remove from the bowl and knead with your hands until it
reaches the consistency of thick dough.

You may need to adjust the amount of water or soap to get
this consistency.

Spoon mixture into cookie cutters or you can have your
children mold their own shapes.

Put shapes in freezer for ten minutes.

For those that are in cookie cutters, pop them out of the
cookie cutters and allow to dry overnight or until hard.

Make several batches of different colors.

Kids can draw on the bathroom tiles or on each other. Bath
Crayons are a fun way for kids to get clean!





BATH TIME PAINTS

Materials:

Mild liquid soap or baby shampoo

Cornstarch

Food coloring

Squirt bottles or other plastic containers




Instructions:

Pour 1/3 cup liquid soap into a squirt bottle

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons cornstarch and several drops of
food coloring.

Shake well until mixture is dissolved.

Make several bottles of different colors.

You can mix colors into cups and save them for days.
