Friendship
Bracelets
Basic Instructions

1.  Each bracelet starts with an overhand knot
leaving a "tail" of about 3 inches.

2. Grip your knotted strings with a clipboard or
tape onto a table.

3.  Finish each bracelet with an overhand knot
with 3 inch "tails" as well. You can braid the tails -
or put beads on them.

4.  Tie your finished bracelets loosely around your
friend's wrist with a square knot.

5.  The basic knot is used in all the bracelets
either going left to right or right to left. To do the
basic knot, wrap the knitting string around its
neighbor string - both held tight and taut. Do this
twice to complete the knot. The knot should be
the color of the knotting string. It it's not, you
didn't hold both strings taut enough or you're
wrapping the strings in the wrong direction.
